Non profit Nevada Corporations
Organizations incorporated for purposes of engaging in charitable, religious, educational or scientific purposes. They are meant to benefit the society at large are referred to as non profit corporations. Such Nevada Corporations abound in the state.
Income or profits accrued are not shared amongst the directors; instead the amounts are directed elsewhere or for promotional purposes for the Nevada corporation. Income is exempted from taxes by the State and is instead used for the organization’s non-profit goals.
The non profit Nevada Corporations are permitted to have any number of directors, who don’t have to be necessarily residents of Nevada. There is a provision for the appointment of a resident agent to handle the functions of the corporation.
Non profit Nevada LLC chief reason for existence is to look into the interests of the public non- commercial needs. The non-profit corporation doesn’t need to raise revenues as their operations are funded by public and private donors. The donations are exempted from any taxes under the State laws.
Some examples of these non-profit corporations include orphanages, disaster relief operation clinics that work for altruistic purposes. The organization managers are usually paid a low salary with volunteers offering free services. Government also have non- profit organizations which they fund.
